One thing about Vancouver that took me a little while to love is the container & tanker ships anchored (parked) in English Bay/Burrard Inlet.

There is always a bunch of them, and they remind me of, and would make me squirm a little bit, like the big leeches in the Stand By Me swamp scene.

That was until I saw them glint and glow golden at sunset!
