I love mountains.
Misty mountains even more.

Snowy mountains even more than that.

And misty, snowy mountains…!

One of the universities my daughter is considering sits on top of a small mountain in an outer suburb of Vancouver.
When we drove out there for a recce, the mountain had a shawl of mist.
Atop, amazing views across Burrard Inlet to the mountains.
A nice place to learn, I think.

For some reason misty mountains makes me think of John Denver’s song, Country Roads.

I’ve looked it up, no misty mountains, just a misty taste of moonshine.

Misty Mountains

Have a wonderful day! 🌱
Hooray another painting!
Thank you, Thorin 😃❤️
Your photography shows me a vision of the world that I would miss without your camera, but your paintings take me into another dimension. Thank you for sharing with us! Xx
Thank you, Michal ❤️xx
Do I detect a ‘green fuse’ beside your ‘have a nice day’? Love your artwork….is it a collage? I was collecting words before rehearsal last nite about what our singers think about when they think ‘green fuse’…wld u like to weigh in? Xox
I liked your take on SFU & photos
Yes, the little green seedling, very similar! 🌱!

It’s acrylic on canvas – I haven’t tried collage, that might be fun!
Interesting question, for those of you who don’t know, our next choir concert in April (2026 in case you are reading this in the future) is titled ‘Green Fuse’, from a quote by Dylan Thomas: “The force that through the green fuse drives the flower.”
What comes to mind?
Fresh starts
